The Ladies' College ILEX 2014
We like to challenge ourselves to keep the design of The Ladies' College ILEX magazines feeling fresh, just as the students strive to create new and interesting articles to summarise the previous academic year. This year, the cover image was supplied by the school, so working closely with what they supplied, we introduced a dynamic vertical title. This title styling was carried through the magazine, working with the chapter colour coding, to give each section it's own layout. We've kept the large full bleed images opposite the title pages and the pullout quotes now have a white-out background behind them to give them more prominence. All-in-all it's a more streamlined and slick design, which is intended to let the student's writing standout.
