Guernsey Post – Alderney Stamp Set
A new set of Alderney stamps that we recently designed for Guernsey Post celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Decimalisation have just been issued. The stamp designs use photographs that we captured of the original coins from 1971. These are in turn set onto a bespoke, vibrant illustration which are contemporary interpretations of the images shown on the face of the original coins. The coins themselves also have a special gloss spot UV finish applied to them so that they appear like shiny new coins. As well as the stamps we also designed the Presentation Pack, First Day Cover, Set of 10 Selvedge Sheets and the Cancellation Stamp.
