Randall's HMS Bull Dog Pump Clip & Coaster
This Saturday May 9th 2015 islanders will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of Liberation Day in Guernsey. To mark this special occasion Randall's Brewery have produced a celebration ale named 'HMS Bulldog Ale' after the ship that sailed into St Peter Port on May 9th 1945 and helped to finally liberate the people of Guernsey from Nazi rule. We were asked to design the pump clip and coasters for this special ale and we have taken our design cues from the typefaces and graphic styling of the 1940s as well as naval inspiration. You will also see that there is an illustration of the silhouette of the ship along with it's unique number H91.
